Hello and thank you for coming to read all about Soulshine Billing and VA! I am so thrilled you're here, no really! I love to help other business owners feel happy, energetic and lit up about their work again! It is a HUGE passion of mine. Here is a glimpse into my past and present-
In 2010, I started my career as an admin in the mental health department of a community agency which was my first real look behind the curtain of behavioral health operations. And I fell in love with it. The detail, the process of clean billing, successful payments, and happy patients!
Then life happened, the way it does. My first baby arrived in 2013, my second in 2015, and like a lot of moms, I needed a way to keep doing work I loved without missing the years I'd never get back. So I brought it home, billing very part-time, for a handful of therapists I already knew and trusted, done between naps and bedtimes.
What a lot of people don't know is that during those same years, I was building something else too: Soulshine Reiki Healing, my spiritual practice as a Reiki Master and Rose Priestess. Billing paid the bills (pun fully intended). Reiki fed my soul. For a long time, I kept them in separate boxes, one for daylight, one for the deeper stuff.
Early 2025 changed that. One therapist posted about me in a Facebook group, and a single post turned into a 200% increase in my client base. Since then, every new client has come through word of mouth, and I've tripled in size from where I started. The universe, apparently, had notes.
But growth made me realize something: I didn't want to choose between the practical and the sacred. I am a billing specialist AND a healer, and both of those things inform how I show up for you. The same intuition that guides a Reiki session is the same intuition that tells me something's off with a denied claim before I even dig in. The same care I bring to holding space for someone's healing is the care I bring to making sure your revenue cycle doesn't fall apart while you're focused on your clients.
Here's what I want you to know about how I work: this isn't a volume game. I'm not managing hundreds of accounts hoping yours doesn't slip through the cracks. Soulshine Billing & VA is intentionally small, intentionally personal, and built around you actually feeling taken care of by me, and by our team.
And PS-Honestly? I'm a luxury girlie. I tip well, I notice the details, and I remember when someone goes the extra mile for me, so that's the standard I hold for this business. White-glove isn't a tagline here like it is for other businesses. It's just how we operate.

Welcome! My name is Kier Madelo, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to connect with you. If there is one thing life has taught me, it’s the value of resilience, heart, and a welcoming smile.
Growing up in the beautiful province of Surigao del Norte, Philippines, as the third child and the only boy among my siblings, I learned early on what it means to be a supportive anchor for the people around me. That sense of care and community is something I carry with me into every single partnership, and my goal is always to make you feel completely supported and at ease.
My Journey & Schooling
My path here was fueled by hard work and a deep passion for learning. I graduated from Southwestern University with a degree in Medical Laboratory Science. Pursuing my education was a true labor of love; while studying, I worked across various industries to independently provide for both my tuition and my everyday living expenses.
That chapter of my life taught me how to handle complex situations with grace, adaptability, and unwavering dedication. Following graduation, I honed my communication and organizational skills working as a Call Center Agent and a General Virtual Assistant, learning exactly what it takes to make life smoother for the people I serve.
